Mixed Signal System Design Engineer

The Precision Platforms Business Unit develops software-defined platforms that enable next-generation architectures for large scale application clusters in the Industrial and Instrumentation market.  You will be part of the Platform Integration team. This team brings together our broad precision technology portfolio into high-value Precision uModule products, as well as developing new precision chiplets to support higher levels of integrated signal processing and application-specific embedded algorithms, including AI at edge.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Design and develop Precision Signal Chain systems using heterogeneous integration
  • Design and develop mixed signal chiplets for use in higher level integrated solutions
  • Transistor-level circuit design and simulation.
  • Working together with a broad team of engineers distributed across the globe.
  • Oversee and support analog and digital IC layout as well as laminate pcb design.
  • Supporting other job functions such as lab evaluation and test to ensure successful delivery meeting all requirements.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuit design, tools, and flows.
  • Design experience in amplifiers, OPAMP circuits, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, bias circuits, LDOs, auto-zero and chopping precision circuits is a plus.
  • Experience in stability in feedback systems and compensation techniques.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MS degree in EE or ECE with 5 years of analog/mixed signal design experience or PhD in precision mixed signal circuit design.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with aggressive schedules.
  • Self-motivated, thorough, autonomous, and driven to continually improve.
