Position Overview:
As ADI expands into new product and market segments, the Solutions and Ecosystems Group group is looking for a highly skilled Systems Engineer who will be responsible for supporting ADI business units, customers, and sales with power architectures. This position will review power applications at system level and define solutions which showcase ADI’s value and performance. The role will involve power supply design and test, new product definition, writing customer facing articles and extensive interface with the sales and business units.
The optimal candidate would be proficient power supply design, have the ability to analyze complex power solutions, have excellent technical writing and presentation skills, a good command of the English language and good listening skills to understand customer problems and articulate solutions.
As a Systems Engineer, you will:
- Provide support to sales and BU’s on power supply design.
- Ability to analyze and correct issues with customer designs.
- Review system block diagrams and understand the power supply design requirements.
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Experience with the design and development of power systems.
- Familiar with ADI power tools such as LTSpice, LTPowerCAD and SPICE.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in board-level power supply design.
- 5+ years in power supply architecture design.
- Magnetic component design and analysis
- Component level analog circuit design, analysis, and debug
- PC board layout design techniques
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
