This role will interface our executives, engineering, and business teams to develop comprehensive technologies for hundreds of millions of customers operating around the globe. 

 

We are looking for someone who is technically excellent, a seasoned people leader who loves to build teams, and is passionate about driving  engineering and operational excellence programs for a global team. You will deliver solutions that are changing how collaboration works for enterprise and SMB customers around the world.  

Responsibilities

As a Engineering leader on our team, you’ll be responsible for defining technical strategy, hiring and growing people, and working with executives and partners to bring lean, agile, and operational excellence solutions to life.  

 

Specific areas we work on include: 

 

  • Develop and drive technical design and development of the team's product deliverables 
  • Take an active role in defining architecture, team culture, building roadmaps, and managing product quality. 
  • Develop a data-driven and customer obsessed culture, prioritizing engineering investments to deliver customer value regularly and consistently. 
  • Collaborate closely with teams within Microsoft to leverage the best technology to advance the team’s mission 
  • Provide leadership and coaching to build a diverse, inclusive, high-performing team where all team members can do their best work 
  • Bring your curiosity, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion to deliver on the promise of technology in a difficult, competitive, and exciting vertical 

Qualifications

Qualifications 

 

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field 
  • 5+ years of technical leadership and people management, 
  • 10+ year of experience designing, developing and deploying production-quality software at scale 
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to break down complex cross functional technical problems 
  • Strong written and verbal communication and demonstrated ability to influence across organizational boundaries
