Technology Services Group Inc. seeks a Principal, Infrastructure Engineer in Jersey City, NJ, to analyze trends to develop strategy for the implementation of upgrades that will enhance the reliability, resiliency and efficiency of the IT infrastructure. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: Developing and implementing various components of applications using Java, J2EE, and Linux Operating Systems to build complex infrastructure pieces; Utilizing source control management for maintaining existing and newly developed source code and ensuring the correct version of the source code is completed for production rollout; Conducting integration testing with application teams to ensure proper integration with business systems to achieve end to end automation; Containerizing production runtime environments and building integrated development environments with IntelliJ to provide consistent runtime and production environments; Integrating and interfacing with build and deployment environments using IntelliJ to build modern developer environments for enhanced developer productivity with quality software; Conducting software programming and developing documentation to build software systems and tools and document future enhancements and maintenance of the system; Using development frameworks including Spring Framework, Oracle, Sybase, GIT, and Shell Script to build large and complex systems, ensure code management and delivery, and retrieve and manage data; and providing application production support to build and maintain large systems.
