Summary
Displays standard engineering principles to resolve difficult problems, from conception to final design with team input. Plans, schedules and leads project assignments in the evaluation, selection and adaptation of various engineering techniques, procedures and criteria with minimal guidance
Job duties:
- Solve technical problems utilizing engineering tools (e.g. DMAIC, Statistical Analysis, etc.).
- Generation of technical documentation in support of project deliverables and requirements, such as protocols, reports, specifications, SOPs, and other supporting documents
- Able to interface with design, engineering, technicians, plant personnel, and external vendors to assure successful design, fabrication and assembly of manufacturing equipment
- Responsible as projects for insuring compliance to GMP/and ISO 13485 in all projects
- Manage technical resources in the implementation of plant projects
- With minimal guidance, schedules and leads a team through the planning and execution of a smaller project or defined piece of a larger project. This includes constructing detailed, accurate project schedules, interfacing with development groups and technical support groups.
- Devises new approaches to complex problems through adaptations and modifications of standard technical principles.
- Display a solid understanding of theories/practices utilized by other disciplines outside primary area of expertise.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering- elector-mechanical
- 5 - 8 years Related Experience, plant manufacturing experience a plus
- Ability to apply statistical and engineering techniques to solve problems.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to present and communication results
- Knowledge of and/or experience in a regulated industry.
- Display a solid understanding of theories/practices utilized by other disciplines outside primary area of expertise.
- Strong communication skills, must be able to provide solutions that reflect understanding business objectives and cost implications
- Ability to convince management on courses of action with minimal assistance using both written and verbal methods.
- Effectively operate in and may facilitate cross-functional teams with guidance globally.
- Preferred Black Belt in Six Sigma
