Job Description

Overall Purpose of Role

Develops and implements the marketing strategy for strategic, diverse and/or complex market segments or product areas that generate new opportunities and advance existing opportunities. Applies significant marketing and business expertise to drive overall results.

Key Responsibilities

* Operational Excellence – Leveraging deep industry, geographical and/or product expertise, develops and implements marketing plans, strategies, and tactics across a diverse and/or complex area. Develops and leads multi-disciplinary plans and tactics to ensure the successful implementation of the marketing strategy. Frequently engages with executive leadership to formulate strategies and garner support. Leads efforts to conduct comprehensive and complex analysis across a variety of areas that result in a deep understanding of the market, industry and/or customer. Manages the development and curation of a wide array of content and marketing collateral.
* Delivers Quality, Value, and Results – Develops and leads the implementation of a variety of sales enablement initiatives and monitors effectiveness. Leads and influences the adoption of new marketing approaches, methods and/or tools to achieve greater results and/or optimization of marketing spend. Continually monitors and adjusts marketing strategies and tactics to ensure the greatest return on investment.
* Functional Excellence – Recognized as a functional expert and thought leader; leads initiatives and provides expertise in building the overall effectiveness and capability of the marketing function (e.g., cross-functional knowledge sharing, best practices, learning and development program creation, defining performance standards). On behalf of marketing leadership, leads cross functional teams in the area of marketing excellence. Leads knowledge sharing and skill building across the function in new markets, product areas, and/or industries.
* Relationship Building - Builds trust and confidence across organizational boundaries by collaborating with others, consistently working to deliver outstanding results, and continuously developing expertise within the function. Instills confidence with internal and external stakeholders by providing thought leadership, strategies and plans in strategic and/or complex areas. Establishes credibility externally (e.g., within the industry, professional organizations, customers) as an expert in marketing excellence.

Field Marketing Manager
* Develops/implements pipeline acceleration programs (with Sales).
* Develops and manages live events.
* Develops sales enablement tools/programs, partnering with Sales Enablement as necessary.
* Evaluates, selects and manages vendors.
* Utilizes target account strategies to support account-based marketing and selling

Education & Experience Required/Preferred Education

Typically requires at least a degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience Typically requires minimum of 7 - 12 years related experience Post graduate course work may be expected
