As the PM Manager for the Communication Intelligence (CI) in the One Voice team under Enterprise 360, you will have the opportunity to be at the center of and influence our industry’s Digital Transformation by building the vision, strategy and help drive execution of key communication intelligence assets in the customer engagement ecosystem that will help us both drive our investments and measure our success.
Core Platform Engineering is part of the Core Services Engineering (CSE) team - our goal is to boldly pursue big ideas that power transformational advancements at Microsoft, while helping Microsoft employees work smarter, faster, and more securely every day. We are technology leaders with deep technical experts, focused on digital transformation and enabling our stakeholders.
As part of the One Voice team, the ideal candidate will own and drive the vision for a portfolio which includes understanding and driving requirements for:
- Integrated communication intelligence framework and platform by leveraging Azure AI, Dynamics, Teams etc. to deliver differentiated and novel customer interaction experiences.
- Build Real-Time voice interaction transcription, employee assist, and customer sentiment measurement
- Cloud connected customer interaction analytics, OCR integration, and post interaction insights
- Investments in AI and ML that will allow us to build a state-of- the- art secure enterprise

The ideal candidate has an excellent track record working across an organization with diverse & inclusive engineers and have a solid commitment to be a great partner to teams across Microsoft in driving a modern enterprise through customer experience-led transformation. The ideal candidate must also have a passion for working across organizational boundaries to transform to the cloud while taking others along on the journey.
Knowledge, experiences, and skills:
- Experience with influence across large teams in a global enterprise environment
- Ability to collaborate, communicate, and effectively influence a wide spectrum of people in business and technical domains
- Engage directly with key customers and stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure we’re delivering the right solutions to exceed their expectations
- Develop and grow a healthy, diverse team and mentor great PMs and be a great role model of a customer-obsessed and data-driven PM.
- Anticipate, identify, assess, track, and mitigate project risks and issues
- Guide the strategic direction for communication intelligence on the team
- Create awareness of communication intelligence capabilities to increase platform adoption.
- Collaborate with business and technology leaders and vendors to drive strategic platform decisions.
- Define platform roadmaps, standards and best practices that are aligned with business and technology strategy.
- Establish platform service level agreements (SLAs) that meet business and technology objectives. Partner with other technology teams to ensure platforms meet established SLAs.
- Lead the research emerging technology trends that will expand our data and analytic capabilities.
Qualifications
Knowledge, experiences, and skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8-10 years of software development experience, ideally including running Platform teams
- 5+ years of experience leading high performing PM teams highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills that can provide clarity to audiences that include customers, peers, and executive leadership
- Experience with a metrics-driven mindset, ability to experiment, learn and improve
- Excellent cross-group collaboration skills across multiple disciplines and teams
- Able to break down complex business problems into opportunities for the business
- Inherently curious, energized by large challenges, and interested in making a significant impact on a globally scaled business
- Thrives in ambiguity
