Job Description
Principal PMO Analyst - OCIO will lead coordination for several PMO competence areas across Technology program/project portfolio. Additionally the analyst will: 
Assist in establishing and enforcing a culture of DLC best practices across the technology group 
Serve as liaison between multiple domain areas within Technology, Risk and Audit to synthesize information for communications / presentations 
Continue to update and improve project methodologies, provide mentoring and training to Program/Project Managers and act as an SME across the Technology organization.   Liaise with a range of teams across the Office of the CIO and Technology Lines of Business, in addition to coordinating with other team members across functions in the Global Technology Portfolio Management Office
Support teams with insightful process, compliance and Program health analysis
Develop materials for executive reporting to define and track key operational/program metrics and to help drive business decisions to achieve goals 
Maintain governance standards and formally report inconsistencies or non-compliance through regular updates with stakeholders 
Coordinate Risk and Issues review, and develop supporting materials and metric
Proactively establish and be an SME for escalation and change control processes

Defines and manages the lifecycle from project initiation through to program closure. Manages and resolves risks, issues and dependencies. 
Measures and monitors program actuals, forecasts and budgets and updates plans with accurate, up-to-date information in a timely manner. 
Follows financial standards & processes (e.g. monthly external revenue accruals, software capitalization, procurement & external payments). 
Reports financial information and status to the required executive level through steering committees.
Secures, leads, motivates and inspires the internal & external resources required to deliver the program. 
Establishes the program s governance (e.g. sponsors, approvers, stakeholders). Manages Program Office Resources. May have formal management responsibility for Program Team members. 
Serves as a liaison between clients and internal technical groups to ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specification. Has regular contact among peers within the firm and externally, including regulators and professional organizations.  

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, preferably in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred. 
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is beneficial, ideally experience with various PMO methodologies (particularly both Agile AND Waterfall)

10 - 12 years of related project management experience required, experience with technology or financial services industry is a plus. Ideally at least 3 years of experience working in a Portfolio Program Management Office or other Technical Project Management role       


Experience in governance best practices: DLC, audit controls, regulatory controls, reporting


Experience using Project Management tools (PPM / JIRA


Strong listening, presentation, communication, and influencing skills. Articulates with confidence to senior management


Strong attention to detail in supporting management reporting with clear and concise data analysis and presentations


Highly motivated and self-directed; exhibits thought leadership and strong critical thinking skills


Highly skilled with the use of Excel and PowerPoint to provide effective reporting and documentation (dashboards, scorecards, status reports, workflows, roadmaps, etc.) 


Experience using a variety of MS Office Applications (Visio, SharePoint, Outlook, MS Project)
