Microsoft’s Business Applications Group seeks a leader to engage closely to learn from our SI partners and work with the groups across the company who support them. Our partner ecosystem team runs like a “startup” within Microsoft – agile, goal oriented, growth focused, and driven. You’ll be responsible for deeply understanding SI needs and how they relate to ISVs and our existing ISV Connect program, especially around how SIs can work collaboratively in an IP-cosell motion. You’ll be a part of the team which sets priorities for how we support SIs within engineering, marketing/GTM, and selling, and work with other key leaders to set long-term strategy and program design.   You’ll work closely with both individual/functional and cross-functional teams.

You will hit the ground running. You know what it’s like to crisply define customer/partner needs, because you’ve done it before. You have direct experience in aligning teams to complex goals and helping them to execute, because you’ve done it before. You’re driven, results oriented, and know how to operate in a streamlined way in strong partnership with engineering, marketing, and sales.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Develop deep knowledge of the business applications market and the role/s SIs play in this market, and understand what SIs need and want from Microsoft.
• Work with our Ecosystem Core Team partners to define and execute a plan for SIs within the next version of “ISV Connect”, aiming for a beginning of FY21 launch.
• Identify best practices and examples in our SI work and work with marketing to communicate these successes, to build more momentum.

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE:

• You have 10+ years Industry expertise in technology companies.
• You understand partner/developer needs and what it takes to build momentum in an ecosystem. Direct experience with SIs is a plus.
• You have a BA / BS or other relevant advanced degree.
• You are comfortable speaking to line of business managers or having executive conversations, both inside Microsoft and with partners.
• You provide focus and drive in identifying and resolving issues that span organizations and partnerships, creating a shared vision for results. You create the conditions for successful collaboration at the organizational level, fostering creativity & innovation that delivers results.
• You love to execute. You excite, energize, and inspire people to drive execution towards business objectives. People love working with and for you.
