If so, come and help us build the most reliable & efficient datacenter infrastructure on the planet. Microsoft is experiencing tremendous growth in its Cloud computing business, driven by Azure. Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) organization is the backbone of the Cloud Business, responsible for designing, building and operating Microsoft’s datacenters. The CO+I Engineering team is responsible for designing and delivering end to end software solutions to deliver step function improvement to the business. We are looking for a customer obsessed, data driven, technical, Senior Program Manager with strong collaboration and communication skills, and execution ability, to drive key initiatives in the Datacenter Transformation space. As a Senior PM you will be responsible to drive product vision, strategy and execution of foundational systems that enable fast, flawless and efficient execution of data center operations. You will lead a cross-functional team of world class software engineers, datacenter operators & leaders, and partner with Azure Engineering teams to define and deliver step function business improvements through transformative software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with datacenter Operations to deeply understand business processes and define product vision and requirements.
  • Adopt a “product engineering approach” to deliver end-to-end software solutions.
  • Define and own product roadmap, drive planning activities, and partner with engineering and Operations teams to ensure successful delivery and operationalization.
  • Provide regular program updates to Executives and business partners.
  • Define & analyze KPIs to measure product and business success.
  • Establish effective feedback loop with the field to gain insights for continuous product improvement and to drive adoption.
  • Be a force multiplier of the team by driving clarity and generating energy.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of PM experience in shipping software products / online services, from concept definition to launch.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to influence different types of stakeholders.
  • BA or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience. MBA combined with a technical background is a plus.
