What We Do
Within Azure- PIE the Geneva Analytics Platform team owns and operates petabyte scale data platforms to enable Azure to operate in a compliant, secure manner, and to support the Azure pillars of trust (secure, compliant), quality and growth. We enable multiple scenarios including near-real time diagnostics, business analytics and data center buildout and expansion. We build and operate the data platforms for near-real time, dynamic understanding of the entire Azure platform and business, including infrastructure (power, cooling, data center facilities), hardware, services (networking, virtual machines), customers (usage, revenue, CSAT) and supportability.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with various teams in Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, Procurement, Security, Support, etc. to deeply understand and enable their scenarios
- Define and develop product vision, roadmaps and features based on customer scenarios and needs. Be customer obsessed
- Work with the engineering team to put together ambitious yet achievable execution plans that make the right tradeoffs for business and customer outcome
- Analyze competition and drive differentiation of our offering
- Prioritization of features across 1st party and 3rd party requirements from customers and partner team
- Effectively communicating strategy and goals and how they align to the team’s work.
- Build / Measure / Learn methodology and drive feature backed by hypothesis and validation
- Define and track usage telemetry of features and use it drive improvements in the product
- Representing the products at various conferences and closely work with Field and Marketing to drive adoption
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Program Manager
- BS, BA, or MS Computer Science or an equivalent technical degree program
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in a Cloud, Internet, or e-Commerce Platform Environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven record of building technical and business relationships with Senior Stakeholders.
- Track record of working closely with development teams (agile methodology)
- Exceptional decision-making and prioritization skills, conflict resolution, community building, and follow through.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, and ability to speak with influence and impact.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to people with or without a technical background.
- Track record of v-team accomplishments (cross boundary collaboration and interpersonal awareness).
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
