Job Description

We deploy new features to the host OS that runs Azure, the world’s computer, and we need you to make our deployments faster and more seamless. 

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced, self-driven, and customer centric Principal Program Manager with experience in prioritizing and leading complex programs across multiple organizations.

Our ideal candidate has a voracious appetite for learning and collaboration with a mindset for making the impossible possible. You will partner with teams from across Microsoft to build and improve deployment tools, ML models, processes and policies with undivided focus on improving or preserving the customer experience while delivering new features. You will also identify and drive requirements for OS improvements, including deeper fabric integration and automation. This is an opportunity to make a long-lasting impact to how Microsoft delights Azure customers.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

 

10+ years of product leadership and product focused Program Management

2+ years building or running cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP/O365)

 

Preferred Skills:

 

BS or Master's degree in Computer Science or 10 + years of software engineering experience

A strong background of influencing others, bias towards action, and a self-starter

Experience of data driven insights leadership including defining KPI’s as well as deep analysis of customer usage data.

Proven ability to collaborate across teams and across levels of management. Exceptional written, interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to present to Executives as well as large room audiences (100+).

 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
