The Azure Storage, Media and Edge team is looking for an energetic, motivated Principal Program Manager to take a leadership position for the Data Box Edge team. You will focus on Microsoft Intelligent Edge technologies, be responsible for the enabling the success of new and existing customers on Azure Government clouds, including hybrid and disconnected scenarios.  

Responsibilities

The Azure Storage PM team is responsible for the end-to-end management of the business, including: 

• Leading the planning process and product roadmap development 
• Market analysis, including action plan development 
• Deep engagements with customers and partners 
• Drive cross team, end-to-end scenarios and customer experiences 
• Managing and improving key business metrics 
• Representation at key conferences and events 

Qualifications

Qualifications:  

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience  
• 5+ years of technical product management experience shipping products/services  
• 2+ years of experience as a lead 
• Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to lead and motivate a high-energy team  
• Strong technical background and solid foundation in software engineering principles and architecture design. Preferably in a cloud environment 

• Strong cross-team collaboration skills  
• Excellent written and oral communication  
• Self-managing leader who takes initiative  

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:  

• Prior experience in US Department of Defense, US Intelligence Community, Federal Civilian/Homeland Security, and/or State & Local Government  

Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
• Candidates must have an active TS and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with full scope polygraph) or have an active TS/SCI and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with full scope polygraph). This role will require candidates to maintain the TS/SCI (with full scope polygraph) clearance.
• Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements
