Position Description:
LCIP is an agile organization with the mission to capitalize on China’s ecosystem to accelerate innovation and catalyze value creation for Lilly. Since its launch in 2018, LCIP served as face of LRL in China, and helped LRL to stay abreast of innovation trend in China. LCIP has built a geography-specific, externally focused research model to identify and realize partnership opportunities in China for Lilly global R&D.

The Senior Manager position reports to Senor Scientific Director of LCIP, and works with rest of LCIP team and global collaborators to identify and execute partnership opportunities in China.

Responsibilities:

• Constantly survey the innovation landscape in China to explore and assess partnership opportunities—In-licensing, out-licensing and academic collaborations
• Reach out to cross functional leaders and key stakeholders (TA, CBD, EI, CI, etc) within Lilly to understand and uncover business needs
• Actively participate in team effort to identify, prioritise, and execute on high value projects, including diving into the scientific merits of each project and leading selected projects
• Build and maintain strong internal and external network and high profile in the community
• Ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines and regulations

Requirements:

• Ph.D. with 3+ years of hands-on drug discovery and development experience
