• Principal Scientist or above, Vector Biology for gene therapy

This person must have extensive experience with adeno associated virus (AAV) vectors.

Major responsibilities include:

? Identification and development of new AAV Applications

? AAV Capsids development

? Vector design

? Optimize Vector Cassette

EXPERIENCE:

? Preferably 8+ years of experience working as a scientist in an academic, research, laboratory setting or biotech/pharma company

? Good publication record in leading peer reviewed journals

? Minimum of 3 years' previous experience working in the development of cell and gene therapies using viral and/or non-viral vectors, preferably in an industry setting

? Experience with upstream and downstream bioprocessing of vectors including viral vector biology and cell line development

? Experience and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

? Drug development and/or extensive research training

EDUCATION :

A Ph.D. in the Biomedical Sciences.

Strong consideration given to Molecular Biologists
