You will be leading engineering efforts in the Azure IoT Client team that delivers device and service SDKs for the next generation features for Internet of Things (IoT) services like IoT Hub, IoT Device Provisioning service, Plug and Play, and Digital Twins.

Successful candidates should have proven experience leading teams of developers, a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, strong technical design skills, and above all a passion for driving the next wave of innovations in Azure IoT.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of highly motivated and talented engineers to deliver features for Azure IoT.
- Actively participate in building the project roadmap, and lead the team through the execution of the roadmap.
- Work with Azure teams to drive the architecture and design of new features serving new Azure IoT scenarios.
- Author highly-efficient code that scales to hundreds of millions of devices at minimal operational costs.
- Work directly with major customers in the industry to both diagnose and provide solutions for their technical scenarios.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience in C, C++ or equivalent languages.
- Experience with computer networking, security and cross platform development is a plus.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
