We are seeking a Principal Engineering Manager for a new team working on a security service. Microsoft Israel is home to over 1000 of Microsoft employees, across 23 teams to drive close collaboration and an amazing team environment.

Responsibilities
- Experienced and excited leader in attracting/retaining top talent that promotes diversity and inclusion, including supporting individual success and growth paths
- Experience working on global teams and defining new charters across new sites/geographies
- Define and drive the strategy and technology roadmap for new Azure Networking services and SKUs.
- Provide strong technical leadership in turning ideas into high-quality services from architecture, design, implementation, quality, supportability, and telemetry.
- Collaborate across Azure and Microsoft teams to build highly reliable, scalable cross-cutting Azure services to deliver end-to-end customer scenarios
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Science or related field.
- 10+ years of software development experience, ship multiple services in Azure or related products.
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal communication skills.
- 3+ years’ experience leading and managing a team of engineers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Proficiency in Programming languages (C#, C/C++, Golang, Python etc.) with expertise in troubleshooting and debugging skills, and Azure technologies.
- Networking & Security knowledge is strongly preferred. Past experiences working with global engineering teams is also highly valued.
