Eaton's IT Organization has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Technical Data Program Manager role within our Integrations & Data Management vertical. This position can be based at any Eaton US facility. Position Overview: At Eaton we are modernizing the way we use data to accelerate our digital transformation. In this role, you will lead and coordinate the product management activities, roadmaps, and lifecycle management for all products in Eaton's Chief Data Management office. You will partner with leaders and product owners of data platforms, data products and business stakeholders to establish a connected portfolio delivery strategy, working with teams operating in an Agile DevOps framework. Your efforts will lead Eaton into the modern era of data, establishing our portfolio as a strategic differentiator among our competitors and realizing the power of data to drive exceptional business results. Essential functions include: Develops comprehensive, coordinated roadmaps and releases across data analytics, platforms, governance, and data product teams. Establishes an Agile delivery framework and mindset for delivery teams, including resource allocation strategy, quarterly planning and release management. Ensures successful, end-to-end delivery of an enterprise-wide program or domain through ongoing client engagement, partnering with technical teams internal and external to the initiative, and coordination of all required activities and milestones. Influences the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation. Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Partners with key stakeholders to align IT and customer strategies with respect to the features and functions of the product and the timing of their release to market. Establishes common metrics for Agile delivery teams to measure performance, quality and stakeholder sentiment as it pertains to portfolio execution. Acts as an Agile Coach for Product Owners and Scrum Masters throughout the Chief Data Management office. Leverages deep technology, process, and domain expertise to influence the design of the product whether it be internally or externally developed and marketed. Is a known expert in the product or it’s relevant domain. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required. Minimum eight (8) years in data management or product management experience Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future No relocation benefit is provided for this position. Candidates must be within a 50-mile radius of any Eaton location to be considered for this opportunity. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: Proficient and experienced in Agile methodologies, preferably Scaled Agile Framework. Experienced in Release Management and Roadmap Development. Software Development Lifecycle experience. Strong knowledge of data and analytics ecosystems and tooling. Position Success Criteria: Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors. Experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems. Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems. Experience managing cross-functional and/or matrix teams. Experience managing a budget to plan and delivering to meet financial goals. Experience interacting at the executive level. Experience managing application delivery. Experience managing high-level technical delivery. Experience influencing leadership and key stakeholders on technology solutions. Experience applying knowledge of the new processes and concepts in IT management, structure and organization. Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $130,400-179,300. Eligible for a performance-based incentive bonus with a target at 21% of base.
