We are a trading organization providing execution and other trading services to internal asset management clients, with more than $650B in AUM. Our traders work closely with the investment teams, support, quant research and engineering as we continue to evolve our trading processes, develop our industry-leading trading technology and apply rigorous quantitative and market structure research to ensure efficient implementation of investment decisions across a wide range of products. JOB DESCRIPTION: Primary responsibility is to manage FX order flow across a wide range of portfolios, investment products, and geographies. Execute complex and sophisticated trades in an efficient, timely and cost effective manner. Work to improve workflows, reduce operational complexity and automate manual tasks. Work with Portfolio Managers, BI and Data Science team to gain insights into trading outcomes and incorporate those insights into trade execution strategies. Build and maintain great relationship with banks and other liquidity providers, as well as key vendors. Manage risk associated with trades. Identify problems and provide solutions within established trading strategies and procedures. Provide strategic and tactical market feedback to Portfolio Managers. Stay current on trading strategies based on research and data gathered from brokers and third party vendors. Liaise with internal compliance, credit and risk functions on execution and trading related matters and functions. No direct reports PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Background in institutional trading of various asset classes, including equities, fixed income and derivatives. Experience in trading FX products within an institutional asset management investment process. Experience in trading FX products in support of Index Funds and ETFs. Broad understanding of OMS and EMS workflows and market data and platform connectivity. Strong background and aptitude in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science Understanding of time series and cross-sectional analyses, solid grasp of applied probability concepts. Experience with some combination of Python, R and SQL is beneficial. Effective Communicator, team-first attitude, with ability and desire to motivate and support others. Qualifications Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 7-10 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in trading or brokerage preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
