My client is a newly setup group focused on K12 international education with a strong business presence in Guangzhou, well backed up by a Hong Kong listed property group. Aligned with their strategy to bring more quality international education and advanced concept to children in China, my client is now seeking a high-caliber Principal to help run the operation of their newly expanded kindergarten. The core curriculum concept of them is based on the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) and the U.K. Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) literacy and numeracy program.

• You not only are able to lead and collaborate with a team of educators in the school division that are both Chinese and Western.

• You will work to ensure consistent and transparent communication with the parents.

• You are responsible for ensuring that teachers and staff have the support they need to implement unique school program.

• You are prepared to be a hands-on leader to not only ensure a successful launch of the program, but to also grow the program over the next few years.

• You will be responsible for planning and implementing budget for the school and monitoring academic development and growth of the students.

• You will develop and implement New School policies, programs, curriculum activities, promotes educational development of student and career development of school staff.

• To achieve the broad goals of the school and plans accordingly and carry out the total school program.

• To provide activities helping growth of the school staff and enhance the quality of the instructional program.

• To identify and implement the improvement on school annual on objectives: including instructional, extracurricular, and athletic programs of the school.

• Curriculum Objectives: ensures that instructional objectives for a given subject and/or classroom are developed, and involves the faculty and others in the development of specific curricular objectives to meet the needs of the school program.

• You need to be a Principal or Vice Principal for international kindergarten or school before applying this role, coming from both ACADEMID and ADMINISTRATIVE background.
• You will be intuitively passionate about students, about education and about personal growth.
• A successful record of leadership in an international school.
• Proven experience in managing the business and financial aspects of a school of comparable size.
• The ability to provide sound and genuine professional leadership to the staff.
• The ability to delegate and coach to the staff.
• The ability to create and maintain a strong commitment to academic excellence
• Experience of planning according to goals aligned with the school's values and strategic priorities.
• Skills in effective strategic planning in a competitive environment, particularly experience of school re-development.
