PRINCIPal ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Capable leading medical device product design and development activities:
- Reasonable planning project technical tasks per well estimation of technical challenge and team strength.
- Effectively organize and drive technical development, and align with cross function.
- Organize project technical related meeting including but not limited technical review, weekly meeting.
- Lead VOC activity, effectively understand user needs, and create product design specifications.
- Design robust concept, including product structures, and breakdown to suitable parts level, Parts model and material selection and definition.
- Creates models and prototypes to check the design, debug and optimize the design.
- Organize and leading test to verify parts and final product meet specification and requirements.
- Create, review and approve the documentation deliverables for the responsible activities.
- Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and result in considerable expenditure of resources.
- Able to independently determine and develop proactive approaches to solutions.
- Uses advanced techniques to anticipate, identify and provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
- Solid contributes inventions, new designs and techniques regarded as advances in the medical and technical/scientific community.
- Reports and presents to responsible area to peers, customers and project review meeting.
- Capable trainer and mentor others in specialized area.
EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s plus a minimum of 8 years relevant experience; or Master’s plus a minimum of 5 years relevant experience; or PhD plus 2years experience.
At least one successful project/critical problem solving experience as leading role, and have significant business impact.
Education in Engineering, Scientific or Technical discipline required. Medical device experience strongly preferred.
