What would be your responsabilities ?

•    Foresee technology development
•    Lobby professional associations and governances as ERA (European Rotogravure Association), ECI (European Color Initiative), ATF (Association Technique Flexographie), GWG (Ghent WorkGroup)…
•    Influence as an Expert our Graphics Partners* to better serve our portfolio strategy (short runs, individualization…) for both packaging quality and artwork production
•    Define and contribute Artwork Production process and tools to fit the market expectations and all internal needs
•    Increase the content flexibility for content personalization or late change
•    Increase the productivity by automation implementation
•    Create the standards (rules and technical requirements) for print quality and color management to all the Graphics Partners
•    Drive the change and control / monitor (KPI) the requirements achievement by all the Graphics Partners and final pack rendering consistency
•    Lead suppliers audits on Graphics process
•    Lead prepress and print technology development projects (Digital, Flexo HD…) to serve Royal Canin vision 2025
•    Initiate the use of new technics to enhance pack design attractiveness
•    Enhance new design structure through reinforcing printability and insuring pack’s premiumness look & feel
 

What are we looking for ? 

•    Engineer degree on Print technology

•    Be a Color, Repro, Prepress, and Print technical expert
•    7 to 10 years of professional experience (graphic chain), successful packaging experience with an agency or photoengraver or printer
•    Fluent in English

•    Strong capacity to understand all aspects of a problem and apply appropriate solutions
•    Skill to unite interfaces around shared projects
•    Skill to well-communicate with the different interfaces (internal-external) and report sticking points to the relevant people transparently and objectively
•    Very customer-focused, able to focus on the end result and stick to the target
•    Able to define processes, workflows, performance and quality criteria clearly
•    Good understanding of how the company works, organizational skills, determination, teamwork
•    Educational skills in transferring technical expertise
