About the Privacy Manager role
As a Privacy Manager for RWS, your main responsibility will be implementation and execution of the Group Privacy Program to ensure and improve effective personal data protection. This includes the ability to demonstrate ongoing compliance with customers’ requirements for personal data protection, GDPR and all legal regulations applicable to the company's worldwide presence.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the Personal Data Processing Register and keeping it complete, up-to-date and relevant to the RWS compliance needs.
- Supporting Personal Data Protection and Privacy Awareness training program.
- Fostering data protection culture among employees and communicate Personal Data Protection policies to responsible persons.
- Overseeing RWS GDPR compliance and ensuring and compliance with customers' requirements for Personal Data Protection, GDPR and other related legal regulations.
- Minimizing Privacy Risks, and ensuring policies, standards, and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with customers' requirements and laws applicable to the organization.
- Collaborating on selection and implementation of technical and organization measures for personal information with Business Owners and technology (IT, SW Development), Information Security and Talent teams.
Requirements
- Privacy and information security background - preferably a master’s degree in the field of IT focused on Privacy, IT management and / or cybersecurity or several years of comparable working
- experience, and ability to interpret legal regulations, and expert text.
- Expert knowledge in the field of GDPR and Data privacy
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity and electronical data protection with knowledge of relevant software tools and principles.
- Experience in process automation and system management, internal and intercompany GDPR processes and platforms for GDPR process management.
- Knowledge of Personal Data Protection legislation in the Czech Republic. Generic knowledge of privacy legislation in EU, United Kingdom, and USA.
- Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly for all levels and audiences.
- Advanced level of English language. The team operates internationally.
