1.Provide engineering support for process and technology transfer from current manufacturing sites to ***.

2.Provide technical support for all decisions related to processing. Function as engineering liaison for all decisions related to process modifications, and for all decisions related to alternative waste treatment methods.

3.Review and approve process changes and keep other functions informed of changes. Periodically review all raw material and finished goods specifications and analytical requirements versus the actual plant consumption mass balance. Function as technical contact for any recommended modifications.

4.Develop and monitor plant energy consumption for products produced.

5.Develop and implement process improvement projects with support from others as required.

6.Establish project priorities based on the key performance drivers as defined above.

7.Maintain communication with stakeholder regarding their process development / improvements initiatives to ensure that all appropriate testing is completed. Function as lead manufacturing representative during any in plant testing or implementation of major process changes.

8.Use engineering tools and other techniques as appropriate in monitoring and improvement activities.

9.Provide technical reports as needed.

1. Must have MS or BS degree with major in Chemical engineering or Chemistry

2. Good knowledge of chemical engineering fundamentals.

3.Good knowledge of process safety and process risk assessment, HAZOP, LOPA…

4. Good RCA capability with preferred structure improvement tools, lean, 6 Sigma…

5.Good understanding of basic organic chemistry as well as analytical knowledge.

6.Good knowledge of health and environmental control and regulations.

7. Fluent in Mandarin and English both spoken and written

8.Working within a multi-cultural and multi-functional environment. Good communication with cross-functional team

9. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize

10. Innovative – ability to analyze complex and diverse problem situation creatively leading to the generation and implementation of original solutions

11. Leadership – Mentoring / training / coaching of junior engineers or technicians

12.Experience in process development or chemical manufacturing, preferably with a multinational foreign-invested company

13.Experience in AI or fine chemical manufacturing support and/or experience in engineering project execution as key member

14. Experience in process safety and process risk assessment.
