Job Description

ADI’s Advanced Development Group has an opening for a semiconductor device and process development engineering. The candidate will join the team that develops the state-of-the art processes used for many of ADI’s leading precision analog products.  The engineer will be involved in the development of new silicon processes and devices. The job will include the design and execution of experiments to optimize device structures, unit process step development, and process integration. Responsibilities may include process & device simulation, design & layout of test structures, and electrical testing.  They will have the responsibility for compilation and evaluation of data, recommendations for changes or modifications which will meet performance requirements and facilitate manufacturing. The job will involve interaction with a multidisciplinary team of process, device characterization, manufacturing, materials and circuit design engineers.

 

Qualifications/Skill Set

  • MS/Phd Electrical, Materials, Physics, Chemistry. Experience in semiconductor fabrication/processing/integration and device physics advantageous
  • Understanding of device performance / process integration interactions
  • Understanding of integrated circuit functionality and device characterization
  • Strong analytical mind with problem solving skills
  • Experience with device characterization methods/techniques
  • Proficient in technical writing, project management and independent research
  • Highly skilled at multitasking, having attention to detail, and teamwork abilities
  • Proficient in technical writing, project management and independent research
