WHAT WE OFFER
Major tasks
- Provides technical stewardship by validating processes are at optimum efficiency, anticipate problems through analysis and data tracking, troubleshoot process problems, ensure Process Safety Information is accurate and complete.
- Responsible for the operational troubleshooting (on-call in urgent and emergency case is required), defect elimination and quality improvement to achieve the reliability and quality targets.
- Participates in the design and implementation of the projects of process improvements, quality/efficiency/reliability improvements, operating cost reductions, and champion them to completion and meet the process safety, environmental and health requirements.
- Responsible for the development, revision, maintain and implement Management of Change (MOC) to ensure that any process change must be reviewed and approved before implementation. Also ensures that the safety originally designed in the facility is maintained or enhanced when changes are made.
- Responsible for the development, revision, maintain and implement Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) management to ensure that all new and modified facilities are thoroughly assessed for process hazards during routine and non-routine operations and that existing facilities are re-examined periodically.
- Manages the process control systems, such as DCS, PLC, PI etc. with the knowledge of configuration, programming and trouble-shooting.
- Communicates and works with Technical Center and other departments in the organization to introduce new products, new process and new technology into the plant.
- Responsible for the development, revision, maintain and implement corporate directives, procedures, and process documentation (i.e. P&ID, operating safety standards, equipment list etc.)

Qualifications
- 3-4 years working experience in chemical manufacturing facility.
- Good English reading/writing/speaking (TOEIC score 600 or above)
- Broad knowledge of reliability and safety work processes to ensure license to operate as well as to improve plant reliability and cost (i.e. defect elimination and continuous Improvement, design for reliability, process hazard analysis, process safety, management of change, pre-startup safety reviews).
- Experience in process safety and has specific expertise in fields such as process and chemical hazard prevention, fire and explosion prevention, functional safety, pressure relief design, modeling and calculations of hazards and consequences.
- Knowledges and experience in DCS & PLC configuration & programming, concept of automation and chemical process design.
- Able to lead and manage projects. Excellent planning and analytical skills are essential.
- Mathematical skills, Technical writing skills, computer skills including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Attention to details, independent with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively, verbally and in writing, to individuals at all levels and to cross-functional groups.
