POSITION

• Report to the manager of Process Engineering department

MISSION

• Establish the assembly process of nacelle components and nacelle subassemblies
• Support the assembly line and propose production improvements

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish, improve, update the routing and the instruction sheets
• Prepare all the data to getting the first article validation
• Provide a daily technical assistance to the assembly line
• Propose improvements of the production / assembly process to minimize production costs
• Improve the product quality, improve the safety conditions of the assembly line operators and reduce process adverse effects to the environment.
• Build and support cost reduction and non quality reduction plans in coordination with the assembly line
• Monitor the commitments on cost and cycle and take necessary actions in coordination with the assembly line
• Elaborate change in design when justified with the production and quality departments and submit them to the Project department
• Put in place all industrial actions to prevent non conformities occurrence and participate to non conformities salvation

EDUCATION BACKGROUND AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• Master Degree or equivalent
• Good English language skills (C,S,W,R) ), French language skills appreciated but not required
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly process in Aeronautics
• Knowledge of HSE issues ( to identify and monitor)
• Organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Capacity to analyse and to synthesize, problems solving
• Proficient Computer Skills in Microsoft Office Programs (Words, PowerPoint, Excel, MS project, ...). AutoCad or similar software appreciated
