Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform oligonucleotides synthesis using DNA/RNA solid-phase synthesizer
- Perform purification of crude oligonucleotides using RP/ion-exchange preparative HPLCs
- Perform final desalting of purified oligonucleotides.
- Responsible for formulating the SOPs for each operation block in the process
- Well implement process in cGMP environment upon SOPs
- Work closely with R&D, QA, and QC on the process transfer, validation and final delivery
- Work both independently and in a team setting on projects and meet required project objectives and deadlines.
- Responsible for the daily maintenance of facilities/equipment
- Teach junior staffs to understand the whole oligo process as well as cultivating them the sense of process risk/safety.
Qualifications:
- At least with B.S. on chemical engineering or synthetic organic chemistry
- Proven 3-5 years pharmaceutical industry experience
- Experience in GMP manufacturing
- Ability to learn new chemistry and to execute processes independently
- Ability to lead technician, give direction, and meet timelines
- Outstanding interpersonal skills are essential job requirements
- Fluency of speech and written in English.
