Job title: Process Lead - Commercial Business Services (Controlling Professional) We provide a variety of competitive, innovative and reliable Record-to-Report services from maintaining financial records to financial closing and reporting. We process, compile and deliver relevant financial information covering Accounting & Closing, Commercial, Tax and Master Data Services. We deliver maximum value to the business by driving Record-to-Report optimization and digitalization using our entrepreneurial approach. We also support our customers’ current and future business requirements with the help of our high level of process and automation competency. This is your role. What part will you play? · Act as an Internal Pension Consultant to Siemens Pension Plans · Specifically support Regional Pension Management, on topics such as 1. IFRS accounting consolidation and Actuarial Valuation Controlling 2. Mgmt Reporting and Controls aligned to Siemens AG Policies 3. Financial assessment and reporting of pension plan redesign, actuarial valuation assumption changes, funding, etc. 4. Aiding Internal Risk Control processes 5. Interfacing management of regional companies for related compliances and approvals · Additionally, also support the Global Pension Asset and Risk Management Team assignments 1. Support and deliver high quality analysis and reporting covering investments, service providers, asset and risk strategies, cost structure, industry analysis, etc. 2. Assimilate information in a systematically way and on an on-going basis from Siemens Pension Plans related to asset and risk management projects/topics · Interact with Siemens Pension Plan Trustees/Actuaries/Consultants representing Siemens interests · Execute assigned tasks with entrepreneurial zest and focus in a professional manner We don’t need superheroes, just super minds. · 2 to 5 years relevant experience in related fields as pension accounting, consulting, asset management, insurance, treasury, wealth management, banking, actuarial services, etc. · Post Graduate qualification in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Business Administration with finance Specialization, or related fields · Fluency in English is a must · Knowledge of German language is favored · Multi-disciplinary exposure across financial markets and ideally some exposure to Pension Accounting (IFRS IAS19/ IndAS 19) and Actuarial Valuation processes is desirable · Demonstrated ability to work individually on assigned projects Essential Skills: · Strong Analytical and Interpersonal skills are expected · Must have a fair understanding of accounting concepts and financial markets and key products · Expert user of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
