• To help develop and provide the overall quality process design for new products and suggest measures for improvement of manufacturing, increasing productivity, reducing cost of quality and therefore improving manufacturing costs for new and current products.

• To work with process design teams to develop the design of products and test these to ensure that they meet all quality standards and specifications and satisfy customer requirements.

• To develop and maintain quality processes in line with process engineering in order to improve quality, increasing First Time Pass and therefore reducing cost to the company.

• To measure and analyse trends and performance in the plant to resolve or reduce potential issues.

• As a coordinator in QA, to receive the customer complaints (from both internal and external) and drive the root cause analyses programmes to ensure the resolve of issues to prevent re-occurrence.

• Manage the use and documentation of un-approved components while in production.

• Provide technical advice and support to other departments.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Education background:

Degree Equivalent in a Quality or Engineering related Discipline

2. Professional knowledge/Skill/Quality:

• Familiar with DOE, FMEA, ISO, TS or similar

• SMT experience (IPC knowledge), electrical & electronics knowledge, and mechanical system.

3. Working experience:

• At least 5 years quality manufacturing experience gained within a manufacturing engineering

environment.

4.Others:

• A good understanding and application of quality principles.

• They must have good analytical skills and should be detail orientated.

• Highly developed and skilled with problem solving techniques.

• Must be able to work on their own initiative and within a team and follow deadlines.

• Must have good communication skills. Good oral and written English
