Responsibilities and duties:

Job Summary:

Define and manage Veolia Asia process safety strategy. Deploy and enforce a process safety management system. Involved in due diligences, management of change process, transfer of competencies, communication in all Veolia Asia BUs.

In charge of developing the process safety culture in the zone.

Provides support and training to operations /engineering resources, implements/ process safety best practices.

1.Process safety management:

• In charge of the process safety strategy implementation from zone level to operational level;

• In charge implementation of process safety bet practices and procedures, including management of change or emergency planning & response procedures;;

• In charge of facilitating Process Hazard Analysis(Hazard and operability studies-HAZOP or others methodologies such as FMEA) in operations or at design phases. In charge of ATEX assessment, or their validation;

• Involved in due diligences to assess process safety performance/culture of the potential acquisitions;

• In charge of the transfer of competencies and built up of a process safety network in the organization;

• In charge of support and training resources in the field of process safety;

• In charge of incident investigation;

• In charge of the alignment with corporate guidelines regarding process safety;

2.Support Business Development:

• Involved in the technical team during tenders phase regarding process safety strategy definition and long term budget preparation;

3.Relation with Headquarters:

very regular travels across Asia.

• With a Bachelor or Master degree in Process engineering;

• At least 5-10 years as process safety engineer or in a technical role with a clear process safety references in Industrial world;

• Fluent in English, basic French;

• Very high level skills on: Planning and organization、Teamwork、curiosity、communication、pedagogy, adaptability to synthetic、hard work and Flexible.

• -Technical skills to be required:

Advanced level on process safety management is the core responsibility of the position;

Advance level on Project Management is required to be able to manage several projects in parallel;

Medium level on Enterprise Asset Management: to be able to integrate process safety processes in the asset management strategy;

Medium level on Water, Waste and Energy processes: to be able to understand risks for the processes and understand site activities & organization.
