Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Drives the adoption of new pad technology at the customer site.  
  • Works closely with customers to demonstrate and introduce new technologies at customer sites, through Demos, on-site evaluations, Joint Development Programs and new tool qualifications. 
  • Serves as liaison between the customer and the Business Unit for assigned projects, ensuring clear understanding of customer issues and delivery of applicable solutions. 
  • When necessary, works closely with customers to optimize pad and consumables combination performance to meet customer process and integration requirements.
  • Develops processes for the best use of Dimension pads in selected applications including the use of pad conditioning disks, pad break-in and conditioning recipes, polishing recipes, wafer evaluation metrics, pad handling and installation, data analysis and reporting
  • Applies knowledge in DoE (design of experiment) in finding the optimal process conditions and pad designs suitable for the target applications
  • Works with product development and pad metrology groups in trouble-shooting of application or pad performance issues
  • Works closely with CMP ecosystem suppliers to ensure optimized application solutions to customer
  • Works with the quality organization to resolve quality excursions on a timely basis
  • Provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site process support as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, and process recommendations 
  • Knowledge of three (3) or more CMP processes on at least two (2) or more technologies or expert level in one (1) technology node.
  • Basic device integration knowledge
  • Ability to support Taiwan, Singapore, and China customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering-related discipline
  • Above 5 years CMP experience in a customer fab and/or CMP consumable supplier
  • Excellent English capability
