Strategic sourcing for metal raw material and components.

Your responsibilities

• Working closely with R&D and Quality Dept., managing well of metal parts development for meeting ABB’s quality standard and time plan.
• Reviewing quotation from supplier for getting competitive price based upon cost model and total cost analysis.
• Being responsible for the cost saving target, identifying and leading cost reduction projects from raw material homologation, process optimization and other sourcing activities.
• Maintaining the relationship with supplier including performance review, negotiating for better term of payment and consignment, pushing the improvement of on time delivery and quality problem solving.
• Optimizing supplier base in accordance with Hub category strategy and managing the price and quota and mould ordering.
• Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

• Must have engineering background with 5 years of working experience including 2 years in sourcing.
• Familiar with normal manufacturing process, like metal stamping, metal casting, molding parts and its cost, sourcing experience raw material and Mould/Tooing is highly desired.
• Good communication, speaking fluently in English, strong logical thinking and good teamwork.
• Skilled used of with office software, good at data analysis and report, SAP experience is a plus
• Knowledge of the quality process, TS16949 is a plus.
