Job Description


Summary
? Responsible for the overall management and delivery of procurement advisory projects of TBA Procurement
? Senior Procurement Consultant works as a team member along with TBA procurement team, Asia/China suppliers and third party service providers (eg. Inspection, Logistics etc.) and has the overall responsibility to drive the project to completion

Job Responsibilities
? Owns and executes the procurement advisory projects according to The Beijing Axis Procurement methodology. Eg. commodity strategies, spend analysis, supply base analysis, supplier appraisal, etc.
? Serve as the main driver of the client relationship and project communication
? Manage the budget, timeline, resources and scope
? Produce a detailed project plan to match customer requirements
? Create status reports and change requests in coordination with sales team
? Share procurement best practices and consulting to clients throughout duration of the project
? Produces a weekly status report documenting project health and progress
? Lead internal project team meetings and meetings with the customer
? Participate in internal projects as required
? Provide active support in defining value proposition and drafting proposals able to match client requirements

Job Requirements
? A business or related bachelor degree. MBA or post-graduate qualification is preferred
? Minimum 3 years work experience in Asia/China’s, either in procurement, supply chain or management consulting roles
? Strong communication skills
? Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
? Proven experience in people management, strategic planning and risk management
? Ability to work in teams with colleagues from diverse cultures and backgrounds
? Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
? Eluent in English, Mandarin speaking ability preferred
