The position is responsible primarily:
• To provide ethical and professional procurement processes to protect the interest of the company in dealing with suppliers and ensure all goods and services procured are in accordance with being client focused, bring value for money, cost controlled & comply with Company's Policy/Standard/Procedures.
• To facilitate and ensure internal users meet the requirements of the outsourcing policies and procedures, including completeness and documentation for due diligence, outsourcing and risk assessments, as well as the periodical review and evaluations of all outsourcing arrangement.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Capture products knowledge within the industry/ market for continuous improvement in strategic sourcing to optimize cost savings and reduce sourcing turnaround time.

• Identify best practice, ascertain requestor’s future requirements via forward planning and where appropriate, respond to changes in the internal and external business environment.

• Strategize and collaborate with internal SMEs colleagues i.e. Technology / REI / Marketing / Finance to improve sourcing processes and capability (TAT & Approval Process).

• Ensure compliance to procurement process as per Procurement Policy/Standard/Procedures.

• Initiate, compile & review Annual Outsourcing Plan & Due Diligence.

• Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.

• Bachelor Degree in any field of study

• At least 8 years relevant working experience in Procurement (including sourcing)

• A good technical appreciation of the range of procurement categories

• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to negotiate at the highest levels with suppliers

• Excellent team management, people and leadership skills with high level of integrity

• Effective stakeholder management

• Good analytical, planning & communications / organizational skills

• Knowledge of using Microsoft Office tools & e-Procurement system
