As a Procurement Program Manager at Micron, you will work with leadership teams to develop project definition and scope, provide appropriate communication and facilitate change management. The Project manager will liaise with other Project managers and Program managers to support direction of project impacts to Procurement Areas of Focus and business objectives. Other program manager responsibilities include; Accurate chartering, tracking of projects, understanding of root cause analysis, pay-back assessment, risk, resource consumption, interdependencies and gap identification. Beyond project management, the program manager will be involved with other projects at a contributor or support function resource level.
Operational Procurement Excellence Program:
- Assist to develop and support the GP Ops Key metrics/dashboard to give visibility of Procurement objectives to FLT.
- Build metrics in line with dashboard metrics, such as On-time delivery, Fill-rate, SQN closure, providing leading indicators to performance and service issues.
- Maintain metrics dictionary (formula of data calculation and data sources).
- Enable ‘Site Benchmarking/ identification of wins and gaps at each site.
- Maintain Site Procurement KPIs for SLT Metrics Review Meetings.
You will need to participate in Site RBA Audits and lead Site RBA Compliance on Procurement.
- Provide a safe, compliant, and ethical work environment according to RBA (former EICC) guideline.
Site Procurement Representative for the EHS (Environment Health Safety) Committee:
- Perform Develop Risk Assessment for all procurement processes
- Setup annual goals and review execution progress quarterly
- Participate in monthly & quarterly meetings and deliver messages to all team members
Procurement Lead for Internal & External Audits (Compliance [RBA], CLM, ISO, Customers, etc.).
- Study global procedures, systems and methodology
- Prepare presentations, feedback questionnaires, and provide evidences (Global documents, PO, Scorecards, etc.)
- Feedback Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions
- Collaborate with Sourcing Compliance Team and Site Departments (HR, EHS, Legal, etc.) to prepare material and present during audits
Training representative for Site Procurement:
- Maintain training records in LRN system
- Prepare for specific TM training workshops
- Arrange for corporate training (CLM/Inventory Management/Supplier Interaction)
Assist with Procurement System Implementations - Local Support
- Attended procure to pay planning meetings
- Collaborate with corporate to implement New system
Maintain Procurement SharePoint Site (Intranet for F11 Procurement)
- Study manual and develop site SharePoint
- Arrange training for buyers
- Collaborate with corporate Administrator of SharePoint
Coordinate Site Budget for Procurement Cost Center
- Hold meetings to discuss budget with section managers and department manager
- Help with budget control
SQN Tracking:
- Weekly record keeping and notice to SQN Owners
Supplier Change Management (SCM) Procurement Process Owner for the Site.
- Provide Business and Data Analysis Support
- Management Review Report and Procurement Monthly Report
- Monitor and update internal metrics
Cost Savings Reporting:
- Extract data and summarize cost reduction to corporate monthly
- Align policy with corporate
Data Retention Records Coordinator:
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining records management programs
- Build Records Retention Addendum
Department Activities Lead:
- Team Building
- Year-End Party
For business process and/or QMS component that one is responsible or accountable for:
- ensuring the QMS/business process that is effective and conforms to requirements;
- ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs;
- reporting on QMS/business process performance and opportunities for improvement to management;
- ensuring the promotion of internal and external customer focus throughout the organization;
- ensuring the maintenance of the integrity of the QMS/ business process when changes are planned and implemented.
- ensuring customer requirements are met
As a Site Process Steward/Key Assistant with the responsibilities:
- Is an active member in business process review and improvement discussions among the site and the System Level Process team.
- Hold site process review (quarterly for non-manufacturing processes and monthly for manufacturing processes.)
- Responsible for introducing standard methods and deploying standard tools to this site.
- Accountable for organizing process audits and demonstrating compliance to standards.
- Act as the point of contact for bi-directional process communication (corporate ¢ral groups &local site). Work in alignment with related steering committees and Business Alignment Teams(BATs) where applicable.
- Develop and maintain site specific process artifacts (when required by System Level Process).
- Report process performance to site management.
- Participate in the Business Process Management Center of Excellence (BPMCOE) when/if applicable.
- Maintain local procedure, workflow, checklists as job aids for the performers.
- Conduct regular reviews with site leadership.
