The Procurement Representative will be a part of a team responsible for procurement activities, with a focus on customer service and client management, in support of TWDC Business Units.

The Procurement Representative will support source to pay activities and data processing; purchase requests, changes, inventory, cost updates, and expediting as required in the SAP, CBORD, DBS, EATEC, Crunchtime, and AMOS systems etc.



Responsibilities :
  • Convert purchase requests into purchase orders in applicable system.
  • Execute purchase requests for low dollar goods and services where sourcing is required
  • Ensure compliance with TWDC procurement policies and guidelines
  • Meet customer requirements for service, quality and value at the lowest total cost
  • Expedite critical purchases ensuring timely delivery
  • Track and clear block invoices over 90 days old from posting via communication with requestors
  • Review and approve new vendor requests and/or extensions to other business areas
  • Support business segment clients and infrequent system users by providing high level training and support
  • With continuous process improvement in mind, support the development of guides/handbooks or other tools to facilitate the procurement of goods and services for the Business Segments
  • Review client buying behavior to identify content or catalogs to be added that will simplify the procurement process and improve the efficiency of operations of Sourcing and Procurement
  • Develop a strong understanding of the applicable systems functionality as it relates to procure to pay
  • Continuously improve professional skills and technical expertise
  • Strive to keep abreast of current industry best practices

Basic Qualifications :
  • Basic cost/data analysis
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Strong typing and ten-key skills
  • Ability to work on a team in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to interact with employees at all levels
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability/desire to work in a diverse environment
  • Experience interacting with a purchasing and/or payables application
  • Experience using SAP and other ERP systems (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of:
  • Supply chain management or procurement practices
  • Microsoft Office Professional Suite
  • 3-5 years experiences in procuring goods and/or services
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline required
