A cutting-edge group which leads big data analytics at Intel is hiring talented students for product analyst student position. Intel's Advanced Analytics department uses machine-learning techniques to solve complex data-driven challenges in various company domains. Specifically, in this position, the team is working with Architecture and Design teams to embed ML algorithms into the HW, in order to create a competitive advantage for Intel. Duties include (but not limited to): Liaise with external and internal stakeholders; Become an expert in the business domain; Use huge data streams to define and model the business problem as an analytical problem that can be solved by machine-learning algorithms; Analyze experiments data to evaluate the solutions; Influence and shape the "TO-BE" Intel products; Analyze existing features, processes and models; Support all project life-cycles from planning to implementation.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?
- First or second-year student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Data Science and Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Students in advanced degrees with experience in Data Mining, Text Mining, Predictive Analytics - an advantage
- Capacity to work 2.5 days a week in parallel to the studies
- Excellent analytical skills
- Mature, independent, and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player
- Excellent English communication skills

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
