• About the team: Experience Service Layer(ESL) and Online Service Booking(OSB) Product Team
• A lean, agile IT org providing high value, integrated services to support ESL and OSB for Ford and Lincoln vehicles in China. Working here means you will be part of Ford China Mobility Platform and Product family to deliver value added mobility service to China customer.
• About the position: Product Anchor will be the senior Full-Stack software engineer in the team, serves as backbone for product development. This role will be responsible for product architecture, development, testing and securityResponsibilities:
• To work closely with Product Manager and Solution Architect team to make sure product architecture is able to support product roadmap, and align with corporate direction.
• To design and develop high-performance, high-availability and nimble .java applications using proven frameworks and technologies
• To lead and provide guidance to the software engineers in the team to ensure technical compliance and excellence.
• To lead and work with Product Designer on detailed design and the day-to-day running of a software development team. This will include advising on and contributing to the implementation and delivery of software components.
• To jointly own, with the DevOps teams, the operational stability of the components you build and be in a position to affect change to improve the on-going robustness, resiliency and stability of those components.
• To operate a continuous delivery DevOps model with emphasis on deployment and integration automation, TDD, BDD, monitoring and on-going ownership of components in production.

Requirements:

• Strength in cloud development principles
• Designing systems and processes for running services at scale, drive cost & operational efficiency, continuous integration, and monitoring
• Expertise in Java, PCF
• Solid understand of Multi-Threaded applications
• Experience working with RESTful API type web services
• Experience in entire application lifecycle, from development and test automation to deployment to operations
• Have experience on CI-CD is a plus
• Have container(Docker) experience is a definite plus
• Exposure to data structures, algorithms, highly concurrent programming, analysis of algorithm complexity is plus
• 7+ years of experience with the Java framework
• 3+ years of experience with PCF or similar cloud solution
• 3+ years of designing and shipping modern web applications
• Experience in Agile methodologies is preferred.
