Position Overview:
Analog Devices is seeking an RF Application Engineer based in Istanbul, Turkey who will provide technical support to customers and Field Application Engineers. The RF product portfolio of this strategy consists of a range of RF Phase Locked Loops (PLL), Voltage Controlled Oscillators (VCO), integrated PLL/VCOs, frequency multipliers and frequency dividers used in a wide range of different markets and applications.

The Applications Engineer will perform a range of tasks in all phases of the product life cycle from product definition, new product development and technical training and customer support of new and existing products.  These tasks include new product hardware design, writing datasheets, hardware user guides and application notes, working with other product lines to understand and develop complete signal chain solutions, developing training material for field applications engineers, making device measurements and providing input for new product definitions.

As an Applications Engineer, you will:

  • Become an RF product expert that will interface with customers and field applications to solve challenging customer design problems.
  • Provide applications and design-in support to customers and Field Application engineers.
  • Responsible for timely completion of new product silicon evaluation, preparation of launch collateral such as datasheets, evaluation boards, user guides, application notes, simulation models and design articles.
  • Development of technical training material for field application engineers.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of customer applications and convert this into inputs to new product definitions.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with silicon evaluation.
  • Hands-on experience with test instruments, such as Spectrum Analyzers, Phase Noise Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers.
  • Hands-on programming experience in either Python,  C, C++, or  C#.
  • Some knowledge of programmable logic (FPGA) and SoC developments is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation and technical writing skills. 
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
