Job Description
Your main responsibilities will include: Lead of corresponding Product Compliance department processes to ensure conformity and safety of Eaton products. Drive the successful definition, implementation and maintenance of divisional procedures and applications to fulfill the legal obligations. In case of non-compliances take the necessary actions to prevent launch of such products or initiate corrective actions for already sold products. Support product management by the definition of product related compliance data. Developing and driving compliance strategy towards legal obligations, customer value and efficiency. Ensure the validity of relevant EU Documents during the entire product life cycle by continuously screening the legal requirements. Advising engineering, product management and segment in product-conformity and approvals specific concerns. Collaboration with product management, segment management and marketing in developing customer- and market-focused approval strategies to keep and increase market share. Supervising the documentation of certification data as part of the technical files for our products according to the requirements of the European directives. Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or other related technical discipline 5+ years’ work experience in electrical business and compliance Knowledge of the applicable directives and standards: e.g., EU, IEC/EN, UL etc. e.g., IEC 60947-family Experience in product compliance and certification Deep knowledge of the PMCC products and its functions e.g. contactors, MCCBs, motor-staters, etc. Very good communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written, including strong experience with public authorities Thinking in a creative manner and concurrently focused on problem-solving Ability to define and roll out strategies for worldwide compliance Fluent in English and German language What we can offer to you: Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team We make your perspectives matter - Different points of view are what drive innovation and collaboration, and at Eaton, innovation begins with top-to-bottom diversity.
