Job Description

Provide product compliance services of a diverse nature to support Label and Package Material Group China (LPM-China) operations. As needed, support  internal & external customer needs on product compliance and sustainability of LPM-NAP. Adherence to the governance of the current business processes and data management systems.

 

POSITION DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 

  • Act as the central coordinator for responding to customer inquiries regarding compliance of LPM-China products with various regulatory or customer product safety or environmental requirements.

  • Communicate with raw material or component suppliers to obtain current compliance data related to LPM-China products.

  • Assist in developing and administering a database of compliance and safety information on LPM-China products.

  • Assist in coordinating product safety testing of products as needed to satisfy regulatory requirements or customer needs.

  • Seek assistance as needed from corporate product compliance for complex product compliance requests or issues.

  • Participate in new product development processes and provide basic compliance guidance to product development teams.

  • Assist in implementing guidance  from corporate product compliance for new product regulatory requirements.

  • Provide technical assistance to cross functional groups such as R&D, product development, marketing, customer service, and procurement regarding compliance issues and initiatives.

  • Exercise the highest degree of discretion when handling all confidential matters.

  • Other duties as assigned to support the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above is preferred.

  • Previous experience in compliance is preferred, which can include product compliance or stewardship or EHS or similar experience.

  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects and assignments, exercising frequent independent judgment, initiative, and tact. 

  • Experience in handling highly confidential matters.

  • Willingness to accept increased responsibilities and meet the demands of the region in a mature and professional manner, whether working independently or as part of a team. 

  • Proficiency of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Internet and learning function specific software.

  • Proficient written,oral communication,communication and presentation skills in English.

  • Excellent customer service skills and able to work across different cultures.

  • Excellent time-management, organizational and project management skills.

  • Strong analytical skills. 

  • Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills.
