Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining costs, margins and selling price data for each seasonal launch and carry over ranges
  • Working extensively with the Sourcing, Development, Product and Sales teams to obtain key cost components, selling prices and providing comprehensive data back to these teams
  • Create, set up and maintain new product cost and profit for each seasonal launch and carry over ranges
  • Profitability analysis of new, current products and regular reporting of status and concerns
  • Analyze, benchmark vs. factories/ previous seasons and report on component costs such as labour and overheads for the third party and in-house manufacturing processes
  • Work closely with third party factories to provide component pricing and ensure they are aligned with pricing
  • Ensure cost breakdown sheets received from factories reflect the agreed pricing, are complete and submitted on time
  • Liaise with various teams such as Sourcing, Development and Supply Planning to ensure that any issues raised by factories related to costs and pricing are resolved
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree graduate with 3-4 years of work experience of costing and pricing in the fashion/ footwear industry
  • Ability to work with various and multi-functional teams to obtain data inputs required
  • Ability to use advanced Excel skills to create large and complex data sheets
  • Commercially astute with a flexible approach to the role
  • Proven ability working in a fast-moving environment to agreed deadlines that may require a rapid turnaround
  • Experience of using accounting systems and BI tools preferable
  • Logical thinker with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent spoken and written English, fluency in Mandarin / Cantonese
