You’re responsible for Product Data Management process (vehicle BoM maintenance & Engineering Change process) of a new Project in RD China, as a “Bridge Function” for the project Partner Entity and as interface to Germany headquarter. Product Data Management process alignment, coordination and clarification among HQ, RD China and Project Partner Entity. Your diverse tasks and responsibilities include the following:
1. Act as a Technical Project Lead and enable smooth cooperation between Daimler & Project Partner
2. Learn and get familiar with RD China Product Data Management (PDM) process and method, as well as Project Partner’s PDM process and method. Based on the understanding, evaluate and define a common or mapping system/process between Daimler RD China & Project Partner for all PDM related tasks
3. Implement a regular communication platform with all necessary resources/partners to ensure the qualified Mercedes-Benz product successfully produced for China & Europe
4. Set-up implementation meetings to synchronize Engineering Change between Daimler RD China and Project Partner’s counterparts
5. Work together with cross-functional departments like RD Engineer, Project Management, cost planning, purchasing, safety, homologation etc. to fulfill project milestones as well as coordinate activities in specific meetings, feedback and track issues
6. Take responsibility for verifying , coordinating and aligning all queries with various internal/external departments (including German development) to ensure an accurate and efficient PDM process
7. Take responsibility for status reporting/presenting to project and management level.

Education : University degree in in mechanical, automotive
Experience : Graduates with first experience in automotive industry (e.g. internships) as well as applicants with minimum 2-3 years work experience at OEMs or suppliers
