Position Title – Product Design Engineer

Element design engineer needs demonstrate strong expertise in fluidic dynamics modelling, product module design, membrane product application and material engineering. The position duties include working with cross functional teams to demonstrate element structural feasibility at both lab and manufacture scale, product prototype design, product application feasibility and provide technical support to internal and external customers.

Primary Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be capable of utilizing experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. The candidate will also be responsible for leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment.

• Provide product structural design optimization and innovation for assigned product application and new product development
• Develop and validate product design tools to support product manufacture projects
• Demonstrate product application feasibility at all different scales
• Active communication with internal functions and external customers to understand business, customer and market needs
• Flow customer needs or issues to product requirements and proactively execute on solutions
• Closely work with different functions and customers to accelerate product commercialization and localization
• Commit to and meet on-time performance targets of internal engineering and customer deliverables.
• Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Ph.D. /Master in Chemical /Material Engineering
• Experience in fluidic dynamic modelling and UF/NF/RO module design are highly desired.

• Experience in wastewater treatment process and UF/NF/RO product application are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to design, construct, modify, and operate bench-scale/pilot equipment
• Demonstrated ability to set and achieve aggressive goals and targets, embrace change and technology evolution as an opportunity
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent English communication skills (job requiring regular communication with US, Canada, and other countries)
