Job Description

As a Product Designer you will be focusing on ensuring that all customers of the H&M Group will have a great experience, by creating amazing digital design. You believe in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. Working with a focus on value creation, growth and serving customers with full ownership and accountability. Delivering exceptional customer and business results.

Responsibilities
Overall responsible for Product Designer (UX+UI) for H&M Group's brands, globally, and for all touchpoints of the digital store, as well as digital design in the physical store.

Product Designers are responsible for a set of activities including:
• Conducting initial customer research and map customer journeys.
• Defining future vision based on customer insights, business goals & KPIs plus technical possibilities.
• Developing new concepts and conducting concept testing.
• Defining intuitive flows, clear wireframes and interaction design and desirable prototypes.
• Designing compelling visual design aligned with the brand's guidelines.
• Iteratively testing solutions with customers to improve designs. Agile customer insights.
• Tracking of user experience metrics and reports on the success of UX improvements, including analytics, and turning them into new ideas and improvements.
• Overall advocating Customer-centered design solutions

The allocation of UX and UI in the role is 70% in UX and 30% in UI.

Qualifications

3-5 years' solid experience in UX design, with UI design ability and experience. Pure UI background candidate may find it very challenged to take this role.

Skills and Abilities
• Ability to simplify the complex
• Ability to facilitate e.g. Design Sprints and other collaborative workshops with stakeholders
• Ability to work data informed (Collaboration with analytics, A/B testers etc.)
• Ability to be a true team player willing to share your insights and experience with the rest of the product team
• Ability to understand the user’s needs, motivations, behaviors and translate them into actionable deliverables- through strong conceptual thinking.
• Ability to collaborate as part of an agile team to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately.
• Agile UX Methods – moving from idea to code as fast as possible
• Problem solving, design thinking & design strategy
• Trend Analysis, Benchmarking & Competitive Analysis
• Qualitative Customer & People Insights (E.g. interviewing, observations, testing, behavioral mapping etc)
• Concept development (visualizations from early sketches)
• UX Prototyping, Storyboarding, User Scenarios (Future State Journey Map), Wireframing, Motion Design, Interaction Design, UX Copy, Micro Interactions, Brand & Identity Design, Visual Design, Sound/Haptics, Us

Functional Knowledge
Individual designers may not possess all skills below but should demonstrate deep expertise in 2 or more areas.

• Sketch
• Marvel Prototyping
• Abstract (Design System)
• Miro
• User Zoom (User Testing)
• Touchpoint knowledge: iOS, Android, Web (Desktop + Mobile)
• (Similar tools: Framer X, Invision, Figma, Zeplin, Protopie, Adobe XD...)
