Phase 2 of the transaction is expected to close in March 2025 at which time employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition employment to Solidigm, a privately-held large company headquartered in San Jose, California with offices world-wide. As the global leader in the semiconductor industry Intel possesses industry leading SSD technology and the most capable NAND Flash products As a Sr Product Development Engineer you will be part of a world class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK Hynix.
As a NAND Sr Product Development Engineer in a High Speed IO (HSIO) focused group, you will be responsible for ensuring the HSIO Characterization, testability and manufacturability of NAND Flash components from the component feasibility stage through production ramp.
This includes:
- Making significant contributions to design, development and validation of High Speed capabilities of NAND devices.
- Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods.
- Test, validate, and redesign circuits to guarantee component margin to specification.
- Analyze and evaluate component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis.
- Data Analysis and Parsing to analyze high volume data for Quality improvement and Yield improvement.
- Electrical Failure Analysis. Autonomously plan and schedule own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and experienced judgment.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS or MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar degree.
- 6+ years' experience including working on non-volatile memory component as a Product Engineer, Staff Engineer, Product QRE, or in High Volume Test.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Proficient with Python/other scripting languages.
- Prior knowledge and experience with Data extraction and analysis by using MS Excel, JMP.
- Prior knowledge of interpreting datasheet specifications and validation methods.
- Knowledge of NAND Flash wafer and component level testing and yield improvement.
- Knowledge of NAND Flash erase, program and read algorithms and device physics.
- Knowledge of Failure and Root-Cause analysis.
- Excellent data presentation skills geared towards driving results.
