Job Description

Intel's product development department is in search of an experienced engineer to join our growing discrete graphics team and deliver Intel's next generation supercompute projects to our customers. Our team is working on cutting edge exascale compute technology that requires strong engineering capabilities to understand our project's complex fusing strategy in order to define fuse requirements, develop/manage fusing strategy and implement fusing capabilities into our manufacturing test flow. The project dynamics and challenges require someone independently motivated to tackle complex engineering challenges, identify solutions and drive implementation. This Product Development Engineer (PDE) role provides an opportunity to engage pre/post-silicon in strategic planning for fusing requirements to achieve key project milestones through product release qualification for high volume manufacturability. Additionally, our PDE will collaborate with design, manufacturing, platform validation and system validation teams to identify fuse requirements, dependencies, verify deliverables, ensure accountability, and implement/deliver our fuse execution for Intel's extensive graphic's roadmap. Team members are expected to coordinate/collaborate with various stakeholders and communicate status/risks/impacts clearly and transparently to our teams, business unit partners and management.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 5+ years experience OR a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 3+ years experience.

  • Experience in Pre/Post silicon Design For Test (DFT) circuits for Scan/Array/Function tester content debug.
  • Simulation/emulation experience/skillset for test development, validation and debug.
  • C++/C#/Python/Perl software/scripting experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Silicon manufacturing flow knowledge
  • Fuse architectural knowledge

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
