Job Description

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

l Define project scope together with project owner in early stage to understand and capture the voice and needs of the market/customer/organization; mainly focus on select solutions;

l Develop new product and improve existing product performance, work with function team on production processes on project /product base;

l Work out new product development plan, proactively on project coordination and execution to deliver result within the time frame:
a) Fully implement new product process, including lab trial, prototype trial, production trial and customer field trial; all these activities are under the effective communication with functional department.
b) Define the Quality standard of product and qualify raw material.
c) Product training for sales or customer.

l Support other departments such as marketing, sales and operations with specific knowledge and/or expertise on products;

l Interact with customers, suppliers, potential external technology partners, and other R&D colleagues in Avery Dennison to create projects and business opportunities

Support product management leader to generate the product line development plan

Qualifications

l +3 years related work experience in new product development field or on new process improvement projects.

l Understanding of film/paper etc products will be preferred and knowledge about label and packaging will be plus.

l Ability to interface effectively with cross-functional groups as well as suppliers / customers to define and execute overall requirements.

l Strong analytical skills.

l Good command of English both in oral and written.

l Paper making industry experience will be a plus.

EDUCATION:

l Master degree or above of engineering or science degree.
