Brief Job Description:
Analog Devices Inc. is seeking an intelligent and versatile Product Development Engineer to join our Microwave Communication group. As a member of the team, he/she will be responsible for a specific product or group of products from product definition through production and release and will participate in the design, simulation, and verification of the product prior to tapeout. Key responsibilities include:
- Contributions to the measurability at the feasibility stage of new project.
- Cooperate with global teams to develop characterization plan, evaluation schematic and implement evaluation system.
- Check silicon functionality and characterization performance on evaluation bench.
- Debugging silicon or bench related issues.
- Generate evaluation reports and work with Test and Application engineers to generate datasheet.
- Work together with design, test and application engineers on problem diagnosis and trouble shooting.
- Analyze existing system in identifying areas for improvement, and use problem solving skills both analytical and empirical in applying robust test solution for RF microwave products
Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Electronics or Electrical Engineering. MS units in related engineering field is an advantage
- At least 2-3 years related and progressive semiconductor manufacturing experience
- Strong electronics background, circuit analysis, problem solving and product understanding on RF Microwave
- Strong knowledge in IC test and measurement system and methods
- Experience in using software tools for schematic and lay-out such as Orcad, Cadence-Allegro, and similar
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to be assigned/trained in ADI-Chelmsford for ~6 months
- Knowledgeable in RF measurements and signal processing
- Strong understanding of communication systems and standards
